Award-winning songwriter Elvis L. Carden was born in Atlanta and began singing when he was five years old. He enlisted in the Army in 1964 and went to Vietnam. A few years later he recorded "Vietnam Blues" and "Loving A Soldier." He is an advocate for the Disabled American Veterans. His dedication to songwriting is as strong as his dedication to Veterans' causes. Not only has he written over 150 songs, but he lives in a guitar! His four-level 3,800 square foot home is a candidate for the Guiness Book of World Records as the largest guitar.
